The Challenge

Crows Nest Holidays operates multiple caravan and camping parks along the Yorkshire coast. Each park had its own website, resulting in high admin overhead, duplicated effort and increased hosting and support costs.

They wanted to consolidate all four park websites into a single platform to simplify management and reduce ongoing costs, without losing the strong SEO value and content they had built up over many years.

The Solution

We worked closely with Crows Nest Holidays to design a new website structure that brought all four parks into one cohesive experience.

Using our UX expertise, we mapped clear user journeys for different visitor types and redesigned the site to reflect modern expectations while staying competitive within the sector. All content was carefully migrated into a single Umbraco CMS, making the site easy to manage and update.

A robust migration plan was put in place, including SEO preservation and 301 redirects, ensuring historic links and search visibility were maintained throughout the transition.

The Outcome

Crows Nest Holidays can now manage all park content in one place, significantly reducing admin time and simplifying day‑to‑day website management.

The new Umbraco CMS provides a flexible, user‑friendly platform that enables quick updates and long‑term scalability. SEO value has been retained, and strengthened, through consolidation, creating more pages and improved visibility that will drive increased enquiries, bookings and revenue over time.

As an added benefit, hosting and support costs were reduced by moving from multiple websites to a single, streamlined platform.
