As web pioneers, we were in it from the beginning developing interactive, database-driven websites and ecommerce systems. 

We brought graphic design in-house to complement our web and database development teams, to offer websites that look good as well as work seamlessly. We also became a supplier to the Department for Education and Employment (DfEE), developing large transactional websites for various teams within the department. 

We become a Microsoft partner because their connected and compatible systems are the best way to help build our customers’ businesses and meet their organisational objectives. 

Arkom win the award for excellent customer care online at the Department for Trade and Industry (DTI) ecommerce awards for Yorkshire and the Humber and we also became an approved supplier to the BBC. 

Our approach to security and reliability wins us a major government project to integrate systems on the Government Secure Internet (GSI), the UK-wide government area network. 

The year of our 1000th project, we develop a new ecommerce platform for global food testing giant, Labm.com significantly reducing admin time and costs. 

We become Microsoft Dynamics specialists, because it’s a smarter, more secure CRM system, enabling our clients to manage their customer relationships in one place. 

We celebrate 20 years of business, delivering creative technologies to hundreds of businesses across thousands of projects. 

Ahead of the curve, we start to implement mobile and tablet responsive sites across all new projects, as well as re-building many of our existing clients’ sites to meet this new worldwide standard.  

Re-launched our website to better align with the developing digital world and showcase our breadth of skills and talent. 

Membership systems become a part of our core offering since the technologies and strategies we use naturally lend themselves well to the membership industry. 

We review the CMS marketplace and decide to switch from our own custom CMS platform to Umbraco, an open-source content management system. Also known as ‘the friendly CMS’ for its intuitive editing experience and technical flexibility.
